About Me

Dr. Conner has extensive experience helping individuals discover their strengths, reach their goals, and achieve balanced mental health. She thrives in guiding those who honor her with their trust as they incorporate new behaviors to obtain more of what they want in life and less of what they do not want. Her compassion for others, wanting them to experience joy and cope with the challenges of daily life in a healthy way, enables her to connect with her clients in a profound and professional manner.

Dr. Conner attended Sam Houston State University, the University of Oklahoma, and the University of North Texas earning a Master’s in Counseling and Student Services, a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
Her Internship and post-Doctoral training were completed at the Greenwich Institute of Psychoanalytic Studies and The 5th Avenue Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy in New York, NY. 
Dr. Conner has served as a Crisis Counselor at Highland Park High School (Dallas, Texas), and in the Garland (Texas) Independent School District, and now continues her private practice.
She has presented at and to numerous National, community, and parent organizations including the:

  • The Texas Psychological Association
  • Dallas Association of Young Lawyer’s
  • The Dallas Junior League
  • Highland Park High School Parent Programs
Dr. Conner has also given back to her community over the years currently serving on the Park Cities HOPE Committee and the Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas Patient Family Advisory Council, and previously on the Advisory Committees of CARE (the Chemical Awareness and Resource Education Center of Dallas), The Elisa Project, The HPISD Parent Education Committee, the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students, and the Dallas Psychological Association Executive Board.
